Fish Skull Zonkers are a beautifully tied update of the classic baitfish pattern. The Ice Queen version has a nice flashy belly and a white wing/tail that make it stand out in murky water. What really makes this fly pop though is the red throat. Whether the fish thinks the red is a flash of the gills or bleeding bait, who knows? What we do know is that trout devour this color combination, especially when fished in stillwater, slow moving streams or in the estuaries. The keel weighted Fish Skull Head gives this fly a lot of motion when stripped.

The Extra Virgin is a light olive version of the Crispy Critter. Fish this 3 1/4 inch long articulated sculpin on a sink tip or with a split shot right in front of it. The spun deerhair makes a commotion under water and the synthetic dubbed body breaks up its profile. Give one a try.

The Crispy Critter is an entirely new take on the articulated sculpin. It is virtually unweighted so it should be fished either on a sink tip or with a split shot on the leader (or both.) The spun deerhair makes a commotion under water and the synthetic dubbed body breaks up its profile. A very fishy little pattern.
