The Fish Skull Electric Leech is a great streamer pattern for trout, steelhead and char. It can be fished in multiple ways to accommodate different fisheries. Try swinging it in the spring, dead drifting it for steelhead or fish it in still water for cutts, rainbows and dolly varden. This pattern is really good for chasing the big char found along the Northern Coast. The stinger loop on this pattern is long enough to allow the hook to be changed out if it gets damaged.

The Olive version is perfect for imitating sculpin and big smolt. The Fish Skull Stinger Zonker take the old classic zonker to another world. By adding the keel weighted Fish Skull and stinger hook, this pattern goes from dancing the Waltz to spinning the Tango. With the added movement and longer body, this pattern drives trout crazy.

The Voodoo Leech is a jumbo-sized, mean leech that gets down in the strike zone, has terrific flowing action in the water, and hooks up a variety of big fish. At 4 inches in length it is a big bite. The long flowing black leech with lead eyes and a flame head would be enough to attract steelhead, coho and big bows, but add in a skirt of  hot pink silicone legs and it is almost too much!

The Hot Pink Mini Intruder from Aqua flies is one of our favorites for a host of different fish. Of course steelhead on small and medium sized streams will pound it. Rainbow trout in June and July also love a swung pink fly. And coho will eat it, too!

Stu's Mini Intruder from Aqua Flies is 2 1/2" in length, has light and small brass dumbell eyes, is tied on a 25mm tube and has a #4 Octopus hook. You can change out the hook if it gets damaged, too.

Brett's Klamath Intruder from Aqua Flies is perfect when you want a small offering that still pops in the water. The Blue Black version is a top steelhead color and also will get big grabs from spring rainbow trout. Brett's Klamath Intruder is a mere 1 3/4" in length. It is tied on a tiny 15mm shank and has an Octopus #4 hook. If the hook gets damaged you can swap it out for a new one. It has tiny lead eyes so you will want to fish it with a sink tip line or a bit of weight to get it down.

The Purple Fish Taco is one of our favorites for steelhead and kings. It is tied with a bit of pink on the rear of the shank that imparts a nice subtle pop of color.

Due to its light weight and slender profile this is a great fly in small or medium sized rivers. The ostrich and flash come alive in the water and it doesn't hang up at the end of the swing. If you are fishing the Sandy River or other Alaska Peninsula king rivers, the Fish Taco should be in your box.

The Steelhead Pink version of the Dirty Hoh is a light pink in color and is a more subdued offering than a lot of Hot Pink steelhead flies. We've found that big rainbows love this fly, too. Actually, just about every fish in an Alaskan river will eat these!

The most famous fly in Alaska and rightfully so. The Black Egg Sucking Leech is particularly deadly on steelhead or salmon that don't want a bright colored fly. A good change-up fly to have in the box.

Check out this ultra-fishy version of an egg sucking leech. A shaggy dubbed body has long hackle fibers wound through and then it is counter-wrapped with thin wire to give the fly great durability. A heavily weighted body gets the fly down and the pink pearl bead on the front gives it an added level of attraction.

The Crispy Critter is an entirely new take on the articulated sculpin. It is virtually unweighted so it should be fished either on a sink tip or with a split shot on the leader (or both.) The spun deerhair makes a commotion under water and the synthetic dubbed body breaks up its profile. A very fishy little pattern.

The Extra Virgin is a light olive version of the Crispy Critter. Fish this 3 1/4 inch long articulated sculpin on a sink tip or with a split shot right in front of it. The spun deerhair makes a commotion under water and the synthetic dubbed body breaks up its profile. Give one a try.
