Echo Gecko Rod Package
If you have a little one in your life who shares your passion for fly fishing, look no further than the Echo Gecko. No longer do children have to learn to fly fish with a rod that is too long or too stiff or use a rod with a handle designed for adult hands. The rod is a great length for fish the size of small trout, up to Pink Salmon.
The Echo Solo reels are designed to get you into the sport at a very reasonable price. The Solo is made of durable impact resistant resin frame and spool are surprisingly strong, with an incredibly smooth robust drag and stainless steel inner workings.
Echo lines up this rod and reel with a weight forward floating fly line, backing, and leader to match. Ready to get your little one out on the water fishing right away!
A sweet blend of fun cosmetics and shorter, forgiving function, the Gecko is the industry’s only high-performance rod buildt specifically for the little thrashers. EVA foam makes it durable and easy-to-hold, while a 2″ fighting butt helps the littlest ones even cast with two-hands. To keep it simple, we’ve put together a kit complete with reel, line, leader, and protective case.
– Line weight #5.
Lifetime Guarantee on rod breakage, means casting fearlessly.

Bought this for my daughter who loves it. The second time we used it we where able to have two other kids casting satisfactorily to catch black rock fish within half an hour total time. Smooth and easy casting with just enough backbone. The only problem is Dad keeps “borrowing” it as a pack rod, even when she is there.
