The Fushcia - Shell Pink Flashtail Tube is a favorite of steedlhead, kings and coho. Not as over-the-top bright as many pink flies, this one will catch their attention but the shell pink front tones it down nicely. This fly is a real producer. Hartwick's Flashtail Tubes from Aqua Flies are just over 3 inches in length. They are tied with marabou, ostrich and flash. The marabou is tied in with a cone behind it so that it keeps a full profile in the water and is much more durable than a standard marabou tube fly. They are super wiggly in the water and still have a nice full profile.

The Purple Fish Taco is one of our favorites for steelhead and kings. It is tied with a bit of pink on the rear of the shank that imparts a nice subtle pop of color. Due to its light weight and slender profile this is a great fly in small or medium sized rivers. The ostrich and flash come alive in the water and it doesn't hang up at the end of the swing. If you are fishing the Sandy River or other Alaska Peninsula king rivers, the Fish Taco should be in your box.

Hartwick's Hoser in Purple Pink is a proven color combo that shows up well in off color water and wakes up sulky fish. Flowing marabou, grizzly hackle wings and subtle flash underneath are the perfect combination of all that steelhead love to eat. The tungsten conehead adds weight and is hidden just behind where the marabou is tied in. It also acts as a platform to keep the marabou from collapsing in the water. The fly is approximately 2 3/4" in length and comes ready to fish with junction tubing and hook.
