The White Sculpzilla is a sleeper color that can really do the trick when dark colors are not producing. In the smaller #8 size it is one of the best lake flies for cutthroat trout in Southeast Alaska.

Never even considered using a sculpin pattern for trout before Mike at Alaska fly fishing goods recommended this one. It was deadly on salt water cutthroat and dolly Varden in southern southeast. The rabbit fur has great action, but isn’t very durable. The fly is still usable, but definitely showing some wear after a few days of good fishing.
