When a darker pattern is in order, the Black Chumpy is ideal. This fly really fishes well in dark, off-color or tannic water.
Chumpy – Black #6
The Chumpy is tied with a fine barred synthetic material that is almost translucent in the water while also giving the impression of parr marks. It is tied on a barbless 45 degree jig hook for great action and easy releases. The eyes are very realistic and heavy enough to make the fly dip and dive on every strip! Chumpies are 3″ in length.
