anyhow – we’re going to stay at Greg Diereck’s lodge and he lists some flies I don’t normally fish on the Akwe. We pretty much fish Dolly Llamas and (black and white) and Clousers in chartruse. Do you think I should bring different flies that they list to the Tsiu?

Brad, Joe Peterson here. Hope you’re well buddy. Our anual trip to the Akwe is cancelled this year because the dude the flies us out there crashed and is missing. Sad situation and we’re hopeful that someone picks up those routes next year. But instead, we’re going to fish the Tsiu.

Hi, I wanted to know what flies work best for the alpine lakes on the Kenai Peninsula? I’m new to the state and learned to fly fish in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I tried using my flies from there on places like Carter Lake; with no luck?
