The Garcia Steelhead Glo Bug has long been one of the “Go To” flies for Situk River steelhead. We have our Garcia’s tied on the Talon Swing Hook from Aqua Flies. Think glo bug hook on steroids. This puppy will not bend out on big fish. This fly is a must for the Situk in the spring. Also a deadly fall pattern for rivers like the Ayakulik and Karluk on Kodiak and the Anchor on the Kenai Peninsula.
