I'm from Bethel, AK and just getting into fly fishing. I'll be in Anchorage in June and would love to get out to practice some casts and get a feel for what flies are best. Would you have any recommendations for early June?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately we’re based out of Juneau otherwise we’d be happy to find some way to get you out on the water. You should come down here, way better than Anchorage, lol. Anyway, try reaching out to Mike or Brian at Mossy’s Fly Shop. They’re good guys and may be able to help. If you need some ideas on flies and what not for fishing the rivers around there, let me know. I outfit people for fishing that way all the time.
