Hello, I will be coming to Juneau from 6/16-6/22. I am wondering if there are any places I can fly fish in or near Juneau for trout or salmon. If so, would a 9 ft 6 wt work? Or will I need something a little bigger?

Thank you for your email. Your 9′ 6 wt will be perfect for trout/dolly varden. If you want to try for salmon, we have opportunities chinook (king) and sockeye (red) salmon. You will want a 9′ 8 wt with a floating line to target these.
