Can I slide an 8mm bead on a TMC 5263 hook size 2?

Answer:

I tried it and even after crushing the barb it didn’t want to go around the bend of the hook. You could gently open the bend up with pliers, slide the bead around and close it up, but it would weaken the hook. Probably not a good idea.
