want a lamson reel dedicated to silvers and steelhead, is guru 7 good match? also could you add backing and line with looped fast sink tip? im going to not add reel but am putting some other stuff on order so you can add reel and line

Hi Dan,
The 7+ is perfect for silvers and steelhead. Rio’s Streamer Tip in a type Vi is a great sink tip. The sinking portion is 10′ and the type six sinks at 5-6 inches per second so it drops pretty fast but won’t instantly hang you up on the bottom. We’ll include backing for you.
