Our #1 selling topwater fly for silvers, pinks and chum is now better than ever. We took the venerable hard-bodied Popper Wog and had it tied on an even stronger stainless-steel hook. The Popper Wog’s hard body makes it durable, light weight and easy to cast. The cupped face makes a big commotion as the popper is stripped.

I have been guiding for 35 years in Katmai park and on the Naknek River for several years now I have been fishing this popper (mostly the pink colored popper) in slow water it is a blast for silvers. Rainbow trout in fast will also clobber this fly be ready, you may need astronaut diapers, this pup can produce some fabulous blow ups!

Very effective fly! It’s super sturdy and definitely gets a Coho’s attention.

Used Pollywog pink #2 and Technowog 1/0 as well as this one on silvers. This one was most difficult of the three to get good

Top Wog pattern we fished, definitely outdid the Polywog. Would buy again. Pink over chartreuse.
Josh Royse –
The silvers smashed these things.

I use versi-tip line. I tye on a popper 5or six times while I’m fishing silvers in a season. There is one or two days a year when these are hot. They are a must have on those days.
