Well, you just watched our video on how to tie the Liquid Wrench Fly, and now you're ready to tie it yourself... So, here is a list of all the materials we used in the video to tie the traditional style Liquid Wrench.
A few things to note...
- This fly can be tied on either a #2 or a #1 hook, although we prefer the #1 for steelhead fishing.
- You can use a variety of different color combos to tie the Liquid Wrench. Some of our favorite color combinations are pink/cerise, black/pink, pink/orange and yellow/red.
- You do not necessarily need a dubbing tool and brush, but they will make your life a whole lot easier!
