Description
An AFFG exclusive fly you won’t find anywhere else. Tied on a Gamakatsu 90° jig hook matched with a Tungsten Slotted Bead from Hareline, the Liquid Wrench drops like a rock and will break the rust on even the most lock jawed of fish. Fish the size #1 under normal to high water flows or when getting down right away is critical. Fish the #2 when a smaller, lighter pattern that doesn’t hang up easily is needed.
Fish this fly on the dead drift using a floating line, Rio Salmon Steelhead Leader in 12lb test and a high floating indicator. Also try swinging or jigginf it. The liquid Wrench in a size #1 is also a great pattern for silvers in streams and rivers.
