The TMC Debarb Plier is a high quality tool for crushing barbs on hooks, flattening feather stems, and a multitude of other tying tasks. An excellent tool to add to your tying desk.
The Plier also has heavy cutters in the back for cutting mono, lead, and other heavy materials. The smooth jaws, as opposed to serrated jaws, allow flattening of feather stems when you need a feather wing to sit flat on the hook
