5SilverFlies

by Kayla Roys

Each year new fly patterns hit the market, but how do you really know if they'll work for you, or when exactly to use them? Well, we have gone out, field tested, and figured out exactly what flies you need in your fly box to begin your fall coho fishing adventures!

DL NewDolly Llama #2
If you thought the Dolly Llama colors we had were great, just wait till you try these new ones out! The All Black and the Fuchsia/Gray are both perfect for fall coho fishing, because they also work on massive trout!

WildThingALLWild Thing #2
Designed by a Juneau guide for fishing Alaskan silvers. This fly has been whooping tail for the last few seasons around southeast, and now has hit the market for all over Alaska! Definitely a pattern you will want in your box for Silvers, Kings, and even some Chum.

ChromerSnack ALL
Chromer Snack #2
The Chromer Snack is a great fly to throw for Silvers, Steelhead, Pink, and Chum when nothing else works. The fly is sparse, yet has a ton of flash, movement and gets great attention in the water!

NewHB

Egg Hareball Leech #1/0
We have two new colors of the always effective Egg Hareball. Fuchsia: perfect for those hot and bothered fresh coho that are ready for a fight.  White: for those tight lipped fish on overcast days when stripping streamers isn't working well.

We know what you're thinking.. " A 2/0 for Silvers?!" Sure, we designed this fly for kings, but what coho wouldn't take a bite out of a Mega ESL? Tied in super vibrant colors that grab attention. This fly is lightly lead wrapped for weight, but is it prefers to be  fished off of a light sink tip.
