Alaska's Premier Fly Fishing Source

McNeely's Green Drake #10

On nice summer aftermoons in late July and early August, many of the great Bristol Bay and Illiamna "Dry Fly" rivers like the Agulapak and Brooks, will see a green drake mayfly hatch. At nearly 1" long, McNeely's Green Drake is one BIG dry fly. The McNeely's Green Drake is an awesome imitation for these bugs. Made of deer hair and rubber legs, these guys float high and are irresistible to big trout. Also works great as a dry-dropper rig.
